The Perfect Plant was founded by Marissa Blankenburg and Grace Kurecki. They thought of this idea when they realized many girls in their young 20's do not know how to care for plants, but really want to. The Perfect Plant is a great way for the new plant lover and old plant lover to come together on this app and find out what plants fits their lifestyle the best. Once the user downloads the app they will be asked to take a quiz based on their lifestyle. This quiz will ask questions like location, how well do they know plant care, what's their schedules like, if they own plants, whether they live in an apartment or house and even how many windows you have and what direction they are facing. Then the quiz will gather all of the information together and give you a list of 10 or more plants that would be perfect for your home, area and lifestyle. Once you’ve purchased your plants you can set up a schedule in your app that reminds you on how often you need to water and fertilize. The Plant track can also tell you everything you need to know about the plant and can even scan for common diseases and how to identify and treat them.
